Fresh From The Sea

Pick of the Local Growers

The Best Cornish Ales and Spirits

With new Head Chef, Andrew Sheridan, taking the helm at in spring 2019, Stargazy Inn will take a place as a destination restaurant serving modern takes on British classics using locally sourced ingredients with intriguing flavours and textures and cooked with flair and creativity.

The fully refurbished bar, restaurant and terrace make a perfect place to dine while enjoying stunning sea views.

Andrew joins us fresh from his appearances on BBC Two’s Great British Menu in 2018 and 2019 where he wowed the judges with his unique and sometime unorthodox approach.

Meet Andrew

Andrew has produced the Menu focusing on local produce along the Cornish coast, using Cod from Plymouth and foraging him self for wild garlic in the close by village of Camelford. The Menu starts from snacks leading to small plates then large plates so you can start with something as light as our Cheese & Onion Crisp or even go straight to dessert with Andrews signature Rice Pudding.

Our 5 course tasting menu takes diners on a journey with each dish telling a story and through memories, tastes or seasons.

Drinks are just as important to us as the food.

We’ve created a hand-picked wine list. You’ll find local beer and cider as well as classic cocktails.

Our Suppliers

Andrew meticulously sources produce from local suppliers as well as foraging, fermenting and preserving wild foods.

He says: “Food to me, is one of the most beautiful things we can do to connect with nature in a variation of ways. Seasonality plays a massive part in the kitchen, we take the best ingredients when they’re in season and prepare them with respect to let its full potential shine.”

Our fish comes from Port Isaac day boats and lobster from pots in the bay. Cornwall is rich in artisan cheese makers and dedicated farms producing top quality beef and lamb
